Teach-in on Bresha Meadows and the Criminalization of Domestic Violence Survivors

This teach-in will look examine Bresha Meadows' case as relates to the larger trend of criminalizing domestic violence survivors, particularly women of color. We will explore organizing strategies for supporting Bresha's case as well as look at the challenges of doing this organizing in a case where racial justice and anti-violence organizations often do not prioritize women of color in their campaigns.
