To: Trump, Department of Justice, Students For Fair Admissions, Ed Blum

Save Affirmative Action for Blacks. Save our Future. Stop Trump.

Dismiss the divisive, dangerous and frivolous lawsuit against Harvard University.

Why is this important?

Trump (Department of Justice) and a group of 20,000 Asian Americans who call themselves "Students For Fair Admissions" ("SFFA") are suing Harvard University claiming Harvard discriminated against the Asian Americans when it rejected them admission but accepted African Americans (Blacks). Although Asians (including Chinese, Vietnamese, Koreans and East Indians) make up only 5.6% of the total U.S. population, they made up the largest percentage, 22.2%, of non-whites admitted to Harvard’s 2017 incoming freshman class. Blacks made up only 14.6% of incoming freshman and 13% of the US population.

Every Black person is potentially harmed by this lawsuit and every Asian stands to benefit from it. This case could strike down Affirmative Action enacted for Blacks pursuant to the 14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution. It threatens admissions policies for Blacks not just at Harvard but at every college and university throughout the country (including graduate, medical, law, PhD and other post graduate programs). And because white women also benefit from affirmative action, in ten years, Harvard could very well look like Harvard 100 years ago: All white and all male.

As of July 31, 2018, 156 Asian American organizations have joined in and support this lawsuit. This is like a slap in the face. Blacks have been completely loyal to the Asian American community by, among other things, supporting their businesses. In many areas, Blacks are Asian owned businesses’ sole lifeline and pour hard earned money into Asian owned businesses so Asians can send their children to schools like Harvard. Yet, SFFA and Trump's DOJ are destroying opportunities for Blacks to attend those same schools. And our support of Asian businesses helps them send their children to private elementary, middle and high schools while oftentimes, sending our own to attend public schools.

Even worse, Blacks, especially women and girls, have endured beatings with brooms and other objects, being punched, kicked, slapped, placed in choke holds and having guns brandished on them; burns, illness, infection and disease; blatant racism and disrespect; being falsely accused and lied on to the police and others; being stereotyped and refused service for no reason; and even being shot and killed at the hands of Asian merchants, business owners and their employees. Yet we, Blacks, remain supportive of Asian American owned business. Yet this is the thanks we get. To add insult to injury, the legal fees for the lawyers representing the Asian Americans are being paid by donations from businesses, merchants and others that Blacks help support!

Moreover, Black spending is projected to be 1.3 Trillion dollars in 2017 and 1.5 Trillion dollars in 2021. We contribute millions of dollars into the Asian (including Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, East Indian) community on a daily if not hourly basis both in in store and online purchases including:

Chinese and other Food Restaurants and Carryouts
Clothing and Apparel Stores
Beauty Supply Businesses
Extension and Weave Hair purchases
Subways
Dunkin' Donuts
Liquor Stores
Gas Stations
Convenience Stores
Grocery Stores
Electronics
Eyelash and Eyebrow services
And, of course, Nail Salons

Take action NOW! Our children's and grandchildren's futures are in jeopardy:

1. Sign this Petition. Tell the DOJ and SFFA to dismiss this frivolous lawsuit immediately. Don't allow them to deprive Blacks of our Rights. Share this with everyone you know.

2. Stop funding this divisive and dangerous lawsuit. Stop pouring money into other Asian and other businesses where Blacks are not appreciated, supported and valued and that support this case. Make a commitment.

3. Support Black Economic Empowerment. Buy Black! Make every effort to seek out, patronize, support, encourage and create quality Black owned businesses and services. Thank you.

Speak Out. Protest. Boycott. Stand. Share. Vote. Call. Write. Donate. Volunteer. Unite. Save. Educate. Pray
