No Chicago Bar Association conference in Jerusalem

Tell the Chicago Bar Association, the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, and the Catholic Lawyers Guild to move the March 2019 Continuing Legal Education conference out of Jerusalem.

Why is this important?

The National Lawyers Guild Chicago is deeply concerned that the March 2019 CLE Conference planned in Jerusalem discriminates against Chicago Bar members who would be denied the right to attend due to their religion, race or national origin, and lends legitimacy to Israel’s occupation of Palestinian land, in violation of international law. NLG Chicago, along with the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, The Center for Constitutional Rights, and Palestine Legal are demanding the CLE be relocated.

Please sign on to ask the Chicago Bar Association, the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, and the Catholic Lawyers Guild, to find a different location for the CLE. Read our full statement at
