Tell Google: Stop Hosting Hate
Google is currently hosting the website of a hate group, kkkknights.com (Loyal White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan). I want Google to clarify their terms of service so as to exclude websites whose purpose is to promote hate and the superiority of one race over another. (I do not know how many other such groups they are hosting, I researched this one because of a news story that this group plans a "victory rally" in North Carolina in December.)
Why is this important?
Did you know that many companies who host websites have an acceptable use agreement? They won't host "offensive content", and some of that offensive content "contains harassing content or hate speech." It turns out that Google is playing host to the grand daddy of all hate groups, the KKK. Hate speech is not protected speech. No law says that Google--or anyone--has to do business with hate groups. Let's put the pressure on Google; tell them "don't give hate a leg to stand on."
