Let us Vote for Greenhaven, It's our Right!

Immediately cease voter suppression in Dekalb County, Georgia and allow the local citizens exercise their right to vote by taking the proposed bill to ballot. The bill allows citizens to decide on forming a new city named Greenhaven.

Why is this important?

It is our constitutional right, as citizens, to vote on any issue that governs our quality of life or lack there of. Refusing a group of people that happens to be 87% black the right to vote is illegal.

Other predominantly white cities such as Sandy Springs, Buckhead and Alpharetta in Georgia have been allowed to successfully vote their city into existence. As a result these cities have become some of the most affluent cities in the United States.

Having the right to form your own city puts more power of how we spend tax dollars back in the hands of the people.

Black communities deserve the same opportunity to create a better quality life for themselves and their children for generations to come.

Let's not get stuck in the 1900's. Let's end voter suppression and demand
a better life and equality for all!
