Tell Glenpool Police to release records of Julian Rose's death

Release all records, reports and recordings about and related to the night of Tuesday December 15th, 2020- when Julian Rose was killed by Glenpool police officers- to the family, lawyers, and public immediately.

Why is this important?

For 4 months, Julian Rose's family has been denied answers as to why Glenpool police officers shot and killed their unarmed family member at their family home.
The City of Glenpool and their police department are responsible for the death of a citizen and father who grew up in Glenpool and graduated from Glenpool High School.
Glenpool police department's previous responses to the family have been attempts to place the blame of record holding on the FBI since Julian Rose was a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation. However, it was officers from the Glenpool police department- and this department alone- that were with Julian in his last living moments, and it was their egregious actions that lead to Julian's horrific death.
The police department must be held accountable by people they have sworn to protect and serve. They must provide answers for why they deemed a course of lethal action was necessary against an unarmed man.
Allowing the Glenpool police department to conceal records that highlight their heinous acts feeds their culture of illegitimate policing, which involves measures of oppression and fear tactics on citizens, and shows a deplorable tendency to operate outside the bounds of law they are paid and trusted to defend.
The safety and lives of each American Indian and African American person that resides in Glenpool, Oklahoma is at stake and in extreme danger if the Glenpool police department is allowed to continue using unrestrained and merciless lethal levels of force on citizens. If we do not demand full accountability and discretion from this police department now, the likelihood of this happening to another family within this community is all too real.
Our family does not want another family to go through what we have been put through by the Glenpool police department. We want to do as much as we can to prevent this from ever being able to happen again while we seek answers and justice in Julian's name.
Help us demand the accountability of Glenpool's police department; beginning with a strong and clear call for the release of all records, reports and recordings about and related to the night of Tuesday December 15th, 2020- when Julian Rose was killed by Glenpool police officers- to the family, lawyers, and public immediately.
