We are demanding justice for Julian Conley, who was sentenced to life without parole plus 25 years despite a trial full of errors and no physical evidence tying him to the crime.
Key facts about Julian’s case:
- No DNA. No fingerprints. No ballistics. Nothing ties Julian to this shooting.By selling the vehicle, the state stripped Julian of a fair chance to conduct independent testing and trajectory analysis. Such actions go beyond mere negligence, they compromise the integrity of the trial and erode public confidence in the justice system.
- The driver and passenger of the car testified that there were two shooters, both dressed in all black, while Julian was wearing red at the time.
- Video footage and math analysis show that the shots came from an angle where Julian was not located. Evidence shows a right to left, crouched shot, Julian is left handed, and the shell casings were found on the opposite side from where he stood not near him.
- The prosecution presented videos at trial that the defense had never seen, a clear violation of his constitutional rights.
We are calling on the Georgia Innocence Project and the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles to review Julian Conley’s case immediately.
