Justice for my son and help me make the City officials do their job

I want compensation for my son injury, his pain and suffering, and All irresponsible parties to be held accountable if this matter. My other concern is if this apartment complex is owned by the city then why weren’t there any inspections held to regulate the temperature of the water in those apartments. Residents have complained about this issue but nothing has been done
Why is this important?
Mother: Katherine Chaudhry; Baby sitter: Portland Gaiter & James Graham’s: the person who gave my son a shower. My Son: joshuah Chaudhry is my 3 year old son. I was a over the road truck driver and my son was being cared for in buffalo, NY. He was being watched at my baby sitters home at the McCarley Gardens located at 687 Virginia st. in buffalo. On June 20, 2019, My sitter called me and said my son was burned in her shower because my son turned the water up to high setting on himself. (She left my baby Unsupervised in a bathroom) He has suffered 2nd degree burns that covers 20-25% surface area on his body. Cps was called from the hospital and so were the police. I was assigned a detective from the special victims unit department in buffalo police. I was not getting any answers from the assigned detective on my case, detective Jennifer Vaccaro, about what really happened to my son. I was told a fire marshall whom name is mr. Grochala, went to the home to take the temperature of the water on June 20 and for several weeks I asked what was the temperature and was not given that information. . On July 6, 2019 I was told that the set temp could be 120 degrees Fahrenheit by detective Vaccaro. That’s not hot enough to Burn a child because that is the actual set temp that is recommended for nys homes. So she lied to me on that. Today July 13, 2019 detective Vaccaro called me and finally informed me that the actual water temperature that was token was 155 degrees. I am currently unemployed because my son need 24/7 supervision and care. Joshuah’s doctor told me this could take up to 3 years for him to recover fully. He will need physical therapy and not to mention behavioral therapy because he is traumatized of seeing running water. Something needs to be done. Their are also other children that live there in that apartment complex and if the water tanks are set to high setting in those buildings then what about the other buildings and now my baby has suffered. I am now going to sue the city because my son suffered behind their negligence to hold proper inspections to regulate the temperatures of the water heater in that apartment.
